rotating TV mounts

The kind mounted to the wall the pull out and turn either direction. How much turn can you realistically get ? 45 degrees?

You can get them to go more than 90 as long as the extended arm is longer than half of the width of the tv. Make sure you get one that can hold the weight of your tv plus a lot more so you don't have any deflection when you pull it all the way out.

Probably a 55 or 60. Mounted to brick.

You'll need one with scissor arms which will limit you to about 60 degrees in each direction like this

I have this mounted above my mantle. It holds a 55 inch LED and gives lots of movement possibilities.
