I am an AMERICAN CITIZEN OF THE USA!
Saw this online. Video of some guy at a Rockies game getting shoved by an officer and then detained.
So OT...is the guy a douche and deserved it or was the cop a douche and stepped out of line? Both is an acceptable answer

Probably need to know a little more about the situation to make a determination. I'd guess that they're both douchebags... Unfortunately one of them has the power to completely ruin your life.

I side with cop. All he had to do was sit down and shut up. Cop probably would have left him alone. Argue with cops in a courtroom all you want. Arguing with them while they are giving you a lawful order is always going to end badly.

This guy is a friend of a friend and I aw this earlier. Dude is a drunk dick, but look at how fast that cop loses his fricking temper and shoves the kid, for nothing. That is the mentality, if you question them, they'll beat your arse. It is pathetic. Again, the kid was a douche though..."what, I though this was 'Merica" over and over

No law requires this though. Should we just always aquiesce because that is what the cop wants? Cop had a right to detain the kid or question him, but not shove him in the chest like that. Typical angry inch douche cop.

totally agree. Kid was a douche, but guess who should be held to higher standard? If the cop wanted to detain and question, he should have, but you can't just go shove poeple like that. Imagine if that drunk 22 year old doucher fell over that rail...
