My first prime time game vs 9ers in 94'

I had just made 12 years old and was starting to get heavy learning the game and watching the tigers and saints.
This was a Monday night prime time game this game pretty much decided the NFC West. But Steve young lit us up for 4 TDs.
I remember my dad saying "there it goes. Saints won't be getting any more prime time games"
And I can't recall but anyone remember the next time they scheduled the Aints(at that time) another prime time/Monday night game?
Eta: I remember loving the seats. We were in the very front on the terrace.

Jim Everett was depressing that game. I remember the one you're talking about.

Saints were 7-9 in 1994, they had no shot at the division

I'm a couple years younger than you but we were anything but the Aints in the late 80's-early 90's. Until Payton got here, that was the prime of the franchise.

Started a decline after '93. I think we were 7-9 again in '95 and then I think 2-14 in '96.
I don't like to think about those days

Me neither. Those were tough days

I think I read we were 7-2 in the division though .... Like I said I just made 12 and haven't looked back at those seasons since .... Just remember this have vividly. Was standing up against the rail of the terrace in the dome the whole game

My first season as a young fan was in 1987. I went to two games that season (Oilers and Bucs). The buzz/hype for the Saints that season around NOLA was greater than any year except 2009.

Oh I bet 87 was a buzzing year... I was only 5. Probably watched some of those on TV or listened to them on the radio, but wouldn't remember or have cared

I went to the Cowboys game that year.
it was during Christmas holidays at my school.
on a Monday Night.
Jimmy Spencer picked off Troy Aikman and ran it back for a TD but the referee marked him out of bounds at like the 10.
horrible call.
Saints ended up not scoring a TD and having to settle for a FG.
I was like wtf.
