NFL scouts, ESPN, and THE WORLD will be watching Leonard Fournette for the years he is at LSU. You think that is gonna hurt his complementing backs? Hell no. If anything it will bring even more exposure to his supporting cast, and Nick will have the opportinity to be the man his junior year for a championship level team. What more can you ask for?

well, he's been around for awhile and I've never seen him publicly dismiss LSU or negative recruit. All around a good poster with valuable info.

He's actually always been pretty respectful on the boards. Obviously a UF fan, but I'll let that slide.

Duckie what's funny is people want real inside info but they want to hear it from Shea or Sunny . Not from the people who are really on the inside with the players and other coaches around the SEC. The truth is to be insider a lot of times you have info before other people but you don't disclose it cause the people trust you with the info to tell you.

If he's a UF fan why the push for Nick to go to UT? And the comments about helping his friend Charlie Strong have me confused ha

Consider that he may be more than just a Florida fan, and also consider where Charlie Strong used to be a defensive coordinator.

The truth is Nick is not a good fit for Florida. Great RB but lacks foot speed Florida is looking for. He's just like Kelvin Taylor

that's not the guy's point, it's that LSU is fully invested in LF and there won't be a competition

and this is based on nothing but his opinion. Countless examples show that Miles has never favored seniority in the RB group.

My point is, if Brossette can't see a path to the field at LSU because of "recruiting promises" to LF then let him go elsewhere. That mindset won't do this team any favors.

Agree 100%. If he dosent like the competition then let him go. Just shows how stacked we are. Will not hurt us in any way. Hell, his backup who is the best player in the country for his age is comming to LSU.

Texas has been on him harder than LSU recruiting wise.

Honestly, when LF and Williams both signed I figured it would be a very difficult task to get both Guice and Brosette. One will likely go elsewhere. And it may sound very cliche for this thread but if I had to choose only one, based off talent alone, I take Guice.

You are correct Captain Crown. The reason is exactly what posters on here is saying. LSU doesn't need Nick they just want him and even now that's debateable. Texas needs him and wants him!!

thanks for the tidbits, Jack.

I'll say maybe this opens the door for Merritt as a full on RB on our end once the switch comes to fruition.

YOU are just wrong with this assumption. Hopefully Nick is smarter than you are and can see that Les doesn't wear down his backs like other programs do and that that is a BIG plus.
