ICYMI, Emmanuel Mudiay was the top PG prospect heading to SMU that was ruled ineligible due to receiving money from someone.

Seems that he chased the money again instead of tougher foreign competition:

Mudiay signed a one-year, $1.2-million contract with the Guangdong Southern Tigers, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports. He's also insured in case he gets injured.

Would one of the more established Euro teams be willing to put him on the roster and actually play him for only one year?

He's in a unique circumstance and needed a team that is willing to be exploited (best word I can think of for right now).

It'd be really dumb to go against tougher competition where he'd play less and look worse.

While other 18-year-old freshmen here in America will be spending an academic year living in a dorm and eating shitty food, Mudiay will be an 18-year-old making $1.2 million for a season and coming back to the states to make a few more million annually.

Sounds good to me.
