The NVIDIA® SHIELD™ tablet delivers the perfect mix of power, portability, and performance. The world’s fastest mobile processor. Unbeatable tablet graphics, video, and audio. And the most realistic stylus for dabbling and drawing. You can even pair it with the optional SHIELD wireless controller for a whole new level of gaming performance and control.

Looks like the price for this tablet will be in the $299-$399 range. I have never had a tablet before but this has a possibility to be my first.

... Unless you have an nvidia video card you're wasting money. Yes it's an android tablet, but the features you pay more can't be used.

I plan on switching to the green team to grab one of these

well of course you're wasting money. you're buying a tablet

looks like it could be fun for some purposes though... I probably won't buy one but I can see why some people would.

I'd get one for playing games on long road trips or something. I won't be getting something like this for a while if I do though because I'm currently in the process of building my first gaming desktop.

Then you're stuck playing normal android games...

Yes. Its the nvidia shield but now in a tablet form, which makes it a lot more useful than the shield. I hope that controller isn't a bitch of a price

A streaming product for pc gaming doesn't interest me as much as a handheld I could download games on to and play without internet.

But the tablet would be far more useful. I'll likely sell my nexus 7 to grab this

My nexus 7 has become my media control. Its used pretty much primarily as a Chromecast controller. I'll probably get this just because I want a new toy.

Oh hai bae

Edit: I use my tablets all the time. I find them more efficient than a laptop
