And what was your favorite.

There were several I loved but I think I'll have to go with:

You can buy the SHR shorts on DVD, by the way. I bought them and will 100% show them to my future kids.

I grew up on them when they first came out, my kids did later, and soon my grand kids will as well.

For me the only ones that came kind of close (a very distant 2nd place) was the TIME FOR TIMER spots.

Learning was never so fun.

My wife (35) has no idea what I'm talking about. I said "Schoolhouse Rock" and she said, "oh yeah, like Jack Black."

Um, no.

To this day, when I think about the Preamble, I sing it in my head.

When we had to learn and recite it in school, EVERYONE in the class sang it because we all learned it the same way.

Nope. School House Rock >>>>Public school. Seriously. My kids have both seen the DVDs and I still drag them out when they're learning something that was covered by SHR, and they covered a lot.

The Preamble, 3 is a magic number, Rufus Xavier Sasparilla...love them all. We even played Mr. Morton for subject and predicate.

My favorite is Interjections!

Yes, they are great. Saturday morning cartoons on three local stations in the 1970's was made infinitely better with the addition of School House Rock.

True story...

Had a Civics class in 8th grade. Teacher gave us a test on the first day to see what we knew. He would give us the same test at the end of the year to show what we had learned.

I made a 98 on it the first daybof class. Missed one question. He asked my mom how I knew all this and she said...

School House Rock when he was little.

Sidenote. I missed the same damm question at the end of the year
