Rex Goliath. Usually under $6 a bottle.

For under $10 Louis Jadot makes some good stuff IMO.

corollary to the original question:

do you prefer a magnum or box when buying more than just a regular bottle?

does a cork vs screw off make a difference to you?

Attending wine classes at Martin's has made most all cheap wine taste disgusting.

Am I sure? In my experience, yes.

I'm not talking the levels in that article though. My go to range is now the $10-20. Not the <$10 that it once was.

Nonsense. My dad drinks expensive wines all the time and never bats an eye when I pour him cheap stuff. I don't think he'd tell the difference if we did a blind test.

Hell, he's the one that turned me on to all the good cheap ones.

So the moral is, don't attend any wine classes at Martin's.

Bogle Cabernet $8'ish at Rouse's. I'm also not above Black Box Cab for $18 at Sam's.

Cupcake Vineyards Wines--usually $10.99 when not on sale but I've found them as cheap as $8.50 when on sale. The Rosé, Cabernet, Malbec, Angel Food, Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, and Red Velvet have all been good when I've tried them and are usually my go-to's.
