Big Freedia, why is everyone so gender confused with this dude?

I watched a portion of his show and I swear they referred to this dude as she at least half of the time. Damn near everyone woman on the show used 'she' when talking about Big F. Do gay guys want to be referred to this way? At least one other dude on there seemed gender confused as well. Is that just another level of gay?

They openly refer to the dude as she. 'She' wears big arse earrings, but I never knew that changed your gender.
