I know this pic is likely manufactured sensaltionalized bullshite but can someone help me out as to why its a bunch of hackery?

It is cleverly done. The first example they say the boss won't let you have something, then they change it to won't cover something.
It is a stupid meme, but they know what they are doing, I'll give them that.

And I'll say to those people what I said to my sister who was bitching about this kind of thing - "Where were people like you four years ago when we were pointing out what a clusterfrick this thing would become?"
The problem is Obamacare and the regulations crammed down everyone's throat. The Hobby Lobby decision was a symptom of the problem, not the problem itself.
EDIT - I think Hobby Lobby was rightly decided. When I say it is a "problem", I mean that this whole thing is a battle anyone who looked at the situation honestly TOLD people would come when the Obama Administration started laying down mandates on Christians to violate their principles because they said so.
It's a symptom of the problems with "one size fits all" insurance and mandating that company-provided insurance MUST cover conditions which aren't life-threatening.

This house is built upon a gigantic false premise.
That being that the employer should be the source of health insurance to begin with.

Well, the SCOTUS only upheld the constitutional right afforded us...Obamacare is the bill that tried to change the rules and force unwanted things on us.
So, just reply like this...the SCOTUS held up the constitution and laws....Obama wasn't smart enough to see what he was causing. So again , thank Obama's dumb arse

Lots of little stuff but the BIG thing is:
There is no FREEDOM to demand stuff from your employer. There is no FREEDOM to demand stuff from anyone.
The freedom you have is to choose not to work at certain businesses. Or buy your own insurance.
Just as the employer SHOULD be free to choose the benefit plan they offer to employees and risk losing quality labor because they don't offer enough.

LOL
Your boss isn't going to refuse to let you have a blood transfusion, they just may not offer insurance that covers it.
These people are fricking ridiculous, seriously.

The sheer absurdity and frankly, audacity of their argument is disgusting: "WE don't want YOU making decisions as to what is or isn't covered under the healthcare plan that YOU are offering to US as a benefit of employment, and that YOU are paying for." "WE need you to just shut up any give US what WE want."
"You want me to allocate $45 a month for a particular type of birth control that you don't want to cover?" "Are you crazy?!!!" "What do you expect me to do, cancel Netflix?"

This would be my counter-meme:
"When your workaholic boss refuses to let you have 28 days of paid vacation, when your penny-pinching boss refuses to pay you $200,000, and when your luddite boss gives you an iPhone 4 instead of a new iPhone 5c for your work phone, thank your wonderful Supreme Court!
The floodgates have been open for decades allowing for an individual boss to dictate the terms of your employment in their organization. WAKE UP AMERICA!"

HL doesn't want to cover abortion meds...so what?
Insurances (private) have been denying coverages on certain meds and/or most certainly limiting the coverage. It did not stop the patient from receiving them, it just cost the patient more...again, so what?

Only thing that is going to happen if these people are successful in getting what they want is employers are going to quit offering healthcare. Many are already.

This is such a stupid fight. The Supreme Court ruling was so narrowly defined that none of the items in that meme are a real possibility. It just shows how ill informed most people are.
The fact is that no employer should be mandated to offer any benefits at all.

If like to see the part of the Constitution where we have the freedom and right to healthcare paid by someone else
Posted on 7/21/14 at 11:51 am to goldennugget

Posted on 7/21/14 at 12:09 pm to goldennugget
Ryan Denson doesn't understand the concept of freedoms.

The ACA basically requires employers with over 50 employees to over insurance.
