Grabbed both of them in my draft last night.

I think Sanders has a big year with Decker and Moreno both leaving Denver.

I hope Williams has a solid season with Witten and Bryant attracting all the attention.

I'm on the Terrance Williams pain train. I think Decker leaving adds to DT88's value.

Are they your 2&3 WRs or your 3&4?

I have a gut feeling Sanders is going to be a great value pick this season. Any WR catching passes from Peyton has value, and you can get Sanders much later than even Welker. He's honestly the only Denver WR I've been targeting in mocks (not because I think DT88, Welker, and Julius Thomas aren't going to have solid seasons, but because I don't like getting someone with one of my early rounds that is competing with so many other talented pass catchers for catches).

What round did you draft those WR in? Pretty weak corps with some question marks

I really like both...but am cautious about sanders.

Terrance shined when Austin was out...he becomes the stand alone wr2 and there's upside to see what he can do with a shite load more targets.

With sanders...he's been given more than one shot to be a legitimate WR2...a few years ago..he got a shot but Antonio beat him out for the wr2....then Wallace left last year and he had every chance to be a threat being that he was on the field so much as a stand alone WR2 without rotation. ...he again was lack luster. Antonio got all the targets.

so even though he seems a sure bet for 80 1100 and 7tds.....I think he'll end up splitting time with that rookie as he fails to impress Peyton.

Total different scenerio with Peyton and Denver. If he picks up what Peyton puts down, he could have a very nice year. I actually think he takes catches from Welker. I really don't think Peyton gives a frick who he throws it to. He looks for mismatches. My sleeper this year could be Andre Caldwell. Specially in the red zone.

Sanders' numbers from last season. Bench player, possible flex for bye weeks.

He'll be hard pressed to top those numbers. I don't think people realize how good DT88, Welker, and Julius Thomas are.

"Oh let me throw the ball more to emmanuel frickin sanders!"

No. The dude is nothing like Eric decker; you cannot just assume he produces at Decker level. His value lies in Welker's health.

He's competing with Caldwell and Cody Latimer (who is a monster) for the remaining scraps. I can see sanders being what he was last year

Welker had some concussion issues last year. He's also 33 so I'd say he's peaked.

Sanders might end up being a real steal if Welker does drop off some.

Welker was pretty quiet the 2nd half of the season last year.

the wildcard is that rookie from Indiana that they drafted. He's a bigger WR kind of like Decker was.

4,261. 28 TDS 92 passer Rating. Ben's #'s.

5,477 55 TDS. 115.1 passer Rating. Peyton's #'s.

Total different offense.

I expect him to fight with Welker for the slot catches, I agree. I've said that all along. He's nothing like Decker.

frick, Peyton made Austin Collie and Blair White decent plays.

Yes he did. Even tho his number didn't drop off that dramatically the last half, defenses changed the way the played him. They bumped him off the line, and Welker could never separate like he was doing in the first half.

If Sanders gets off the line and gets space, he will steal catches from Welker.

Welker was on pace for 90/960 over the course of 16 games. That's pretty good considering Peyton has never been one to feed the slot guy in bunches; he's always looked to his downfield WR, TE, and RBs more.

Not sure how many steps welker lost. He's still one of the best from the slot. If he stays on the field he's getting numbers.

Another thing to consider is Manning isn't throwing 55 TDs again. If he "regresses" to his career norm, DT88 and Thomas are going to have the majority of those TDs, you'd assume.

I kind of feel like the Broncos drafted Latimer to replace Decker. A big-bodied WR who has good speed. Just my opinion obviously.

Decker was pretty sneaky with yards after the catch but wasn't flashy like DT88.

I'm not sure if I follow people when they want to debate whether Sanders can pick up the slack left by Decker.

they are two different kind of WRs to me.

I like Latimer more than Sanders. And you can get him at a better value.

Sanders will be overdrafted, Latimer under.

ALL IMO

The thing about Lattimer, he played in a shotgun spread attack that threw the ball a ton in college. Typically guys like that don't run good routes. i.e. Terrence Williams.

Lattimer is a very good route runner by all accounts.

It's this completely. I won't be targeting Sanders in any draft because he is going far too early to offer much value.

So you'd rather Latimer over Caldwell?

Don't you have a rule or something about rookie wideouts?

Andre Caldwell has been in the league awhile and hasn't proven anything.

It's not really about liking latimer, it's more about Caldwell being not that good

There are 2 or 3 startable rookie WR every year. I think latimer could be one as the year goes on. Probably not right away. He fits deckers role pretty well

i tend to agree with this. He'll be in the 70 catch range at best. If he can get deep he may push 900 yards or so.
