Why just Siegan Lane? How about you not walk across any main boulevard in a high traffic area with your kids?

What is wrong with crossing the street? As long as it is done properly at a corner with a light I see no problem. Do I have to buy a car just to cross the street?

It is a wide and busy street, but people who take the bus places have to learn to cross streets. Having grown up in a day and age where starting at about age 8 or 9 I left for the day and returned home for supper during the summer, I had to learn how to deal with traffic. My wife on the other hand, won't walk across Perkins near Acadian.

The part I see people crossing is 7 lanes, and I think at some of the intersections there are more with right turn lanes added. But people don't usually cross at the intersections, mostly in the middle of the block.

I've seen 3 incidents of Siegen in recent years. one dead man and two unconscious people but apparently survived. It's dangerous.
