Wisconsin. A loss makes a seven or eight win season likely and sucks the optimism out right away.

At Arky...

Week after Bama, they have a bye week and we traditionally play down to them...

And I live amongst the Swine so there is the personal aspect...

The Auburn game on the road is also worrisome cuz we always get shanked there.

at Auburn.

Loud stadium. Young at QB. And that place is traditionally a graveyard for us.

at Arkansas.

We always play like shite up there, and coming off Ala game. Letdown city.

Ole Miss and that QB. We will squeak a win in Dallas and then manage to regroup. Losses to Bama and either one of the back to back road games of Auburn/Fla. Nine win season,

We win in HOUSTON

Bo and OM give us fits and we lose a narrow one to them in TS.

We don't beat Bama. AU is a tossup. FLA never easy playing there.

We have to beat Alabama. I'm tired of losing to them.

Me too, and I think this is the year we do it. It's in November, so our young guys will have a chance to gel. We'll have a bye week before, it's Senior Night, and it'll be the largest crowd in Tiger Stadium history. We'll be plenty hyped for Bama, it's the letdown afterwards I'm worried about.

A couple worry me but most of all and again Im from the old school but the biggest worry of all is the Ole Miss Rebel Black Bears. For some reason and I cant understand it, we have trouble with them and that darn Bo Wallace.

I know they have their issues but they still recruit very well and it's still hard to win at the swamp.

Yeah - that's it. You got it early on. You knew the answer all along, but great thread...

This game is early enough in our year to potentially put too much pressure on the development of our QBs via required offensive production vs. playing at least an equal quality SEC team in what should be a classic matchup.

Especially against returning SEC champ at their place. Fortunately we beat them last year at Tiger Stadium early on before the Malzahn genius had a chance to unfold.

Did I mention that Auburn will be pretty damn good this year?

If we can get past this game with a win, chances of an undefeated season will shoot up tremendously. Alabama and Ole Miss may pose a problem, but that's always the case. Of course LSU should not sleep on the other SEC teams.

yeah that auburn game will be us trying to run the ball like 80% of the time to take the pressure off the young qbs.
