The two guys in the video can be annoying but if you look past that and at the gameplay, the game looks amazing. Runs much smoother than The Sims 3 it seems and supposedly it will be able to run on lower end PCs
Here's the video LINK
Game is released on September 2

That looked legit. Quality is amazing. Hopefully I won't miss pools too much.
Who cares about toddlers. Let's just throw parties every night.
I still wish there was a multiplayer neighborhood where your guy is ran by the CPU until you log on. The. You take control.

Outside of the fact that the game looks incredible and runs smooth, the thing I am really excited about is being able to access the marketplace in the game and download houses/sims automatically to your game.

Awesome. I always look forward to The Sims. I still play the first one often.

The first one is so simple that it's still a masterpiece. The Sims 2 was The Sims 1 in 3D and I loved it. Never could get into The Sims 3 like I could The Sims 1 or Sims 2. The way this looks though looks like I will be able to. Less lag and looks like it is a return to The Sims' roots. Minus the pools of course.

Sims 3 was great as well.
My favorite gas always been building houses more than actually playing

I thought the Sims 3 was a good game too. Played many hours on it but I didn't have as many 5-6 hour playing sessions as the others
I really enjoy building houses too and The Sims 4 looks like it's going to be great in that regard. More than likely the best in the series.

I've never played 2. Is it pretty fun? It was the last one that Will Wright had a part of right?

Yeah. The only ones Will Wright worked on were 1 and 2. Two is probably my favorite in the entire series.

Pretty elementary question probably but... Is there any way to play the Sims 1? My laptop doesn't have a CD drive, but I've got the CD. I've been clamoring to play some Sims 1 haha. Sims 3 is fun, but I can only run it on low settings (Intel HD 5000).
