i am going to fixing up a little stretch of land near west bay wma in swla, it has a few stands on it that get hunted everyone once in a while with feeders, i will be mainly bow hunting it the first 2 weeks of the season since it opens in mid september there and i have a place in ms that opens in october.
it is all creek bottom and a few upland areas, i want something that is small but will keep deer/hogs coming in and out of there, i have a tractor and everything i need to build it, just wondering if anyone has any special blends they use in that situation

I plan on trying the buckbusters and plot spike this year. the plot spike foliage blend seems like a pretty good product.

Whatever you do and whatever you plant, FERTILIZE it.
Also, a little lime probably wouldn't hurt but you may way to run a soil sample first.
