Great game? No. Solid performance? Yes.

Offense? Abysmal once again.

I'm really ok with it. Two of the top five picks (likely) next year is great.

With the extra pool money we will have we will sign four first round talents in next years draft and we will celebrate and this fiasco will all be in the past.

We did still get this guy

Who is Daz? Without looking it up, he's probably a Ken Griffey jr., once in a generation type guy...and we won't get to pick him. Amirite

EVEN Better than that, he is a two way player, they compare him to Alex Rodriguez at the plate and a young Roger Clemens on the mound. They think he can be the first true two way everyday started in the bigs in like fifty years.

But unfortunately without even knowing it you were right, we won't be able to pick him. After yesterdays fiasco his family adviser sent in paperwork to block the Astros from drafting him, along with several other top 50 talents. We will probably get stuck with drafting a few local guys who grew up loving Bagpipes and Biggio.
