So, I'm loving my Lumia, but have found one thing that goes between a nice feature and a nuisance.

Is there not a way to go back from a webpage that's set only to the internet? That's a terribly worded sentence, but basically my issue is switching between apps while scanning the net. I'll be on a webpage, flip to my messages and then head back to the net. The problem then comes when I try to view the page I was previously on as hitting the back button takes you back to your messages(or whatever app you were in) instead of the previously viewed page.

Is this just a terrible design flaw or am I missing something?

If you are on a webpage, press the Windows button to go to the start menu to open a new app. Then press and hold the back button to switch already open apps and the page will be exactly where you left it.

It'll be fixed in the 8.1 update.

Press and hold back to get to messages or another app. Using the multitasking doesn't screw with your browser history.

I had the same issue. When you go back to the IE app, then swipe left or right rather than hitting the soft back button the bottom.

I am on 8.1, so not sure if you can do that in 8.

My problem was having multiple tabs open, once I got that figured out it was smooth sailing. It is painful to store contacts. I haven't figured out how to edit contacts yet.
