Saw a guy win 60K yesterday at L'auberge

He won 19 hands in a row at baccarat. Started with a small stack of greens and a few blacks... left with several stacks of orange. Never seen anything like it. Sometimes he would repeat his bet, other times he would double his bet. The 20th hand, the one he lost, he had 5000 on banker and lost. He was kind of a douche too, kept mentioning that he was unemployed and he was using birthday money from his family.
I know I know CSB.

I bet he had a large time with hookers and blow last night.

Sounds like he doesn't have it this morning

Fat sack of green, couple of hot hookers, and a porno playing. Baby that's all we need

He won't put any away for taxes and will be a broke loser by next weekend and owe more than he won. Sweet life, bruh.

WRONG. The IRS is way ahead of you. They take it out right then. I once won a big long odds bet in MS and was bummed when they rolled up with tax forms and did the deduction on the spot. Took almost 40%.

The state will want their cut come May.

Can you call a bunch of friends and divide up chips to avoid this. I'd pay everyone 100$ if this is possible

Hell no. This is a casino with a gazillion cameras. They literally got me before I left the table.

At what amount of money do they tax you then and there?
Posted on 7/19/14 at 11:25 am to jbgleason
What is the cutoff point on this, as far as when they feel obligated to take out taxes on the spot?
I was at a Pai-gow table and the guy next to me won $11,250 on one hand and all they did was pay him with a bunch of purple chips. (Although they might have gotten his drivers license info maybe?)
For those who will wonder how it's possible to win that much at Pai-gow , he had $75 on the bonus bet and caught a royal flush, which pays 150-1
