water couldn't have been more than 5 or 6 ft deep. what's the closest you've ever seen a sail come into shore? i see pics of people who've caught them from the piers in alabama and fl panhandle, but that can be up to 30 ft deep out at the end there.

That's pretty cool.

Wonder if they would hit a top dog because I would have been throwing something at them.

I'm not 100% convinced that was sailfish. Those dorsal fins looked strange.

Now that Mahi. WTF? I think it was committing suicide. Swam right up to the guy and was like, "eat me!" I would have definitely assisted in her suicide.

Very cool. Where was that? I saw 60 to 80 pound wahoo all over the shallow liberty off of horn island one year. (About one miles off the beach)

Mrs House and I were sitting on the patio at the Rusty Pelican on Key Biscayne and saw a few. Very strange.

Some big black marlin knocked it silly I bet. Or a shark.

The Mahi was like a pet or something. He would have been a meal to me.

I'm guessing not a sail but a shark. Small dorsal fin and large tail fin.

I think if you watch it again, you'll see the sail spread out some in a few frames. I believe it is a sail.

Very cool. I'd have been casting at them for sure!

This and they did bill a couple times. And I paid good money to fish for them offshore before.
