This won't mix with the OT very well.

with the traffic, you're not going to want to leave your place.

Go to the beach. It's the sandy area that connects to the water.

Go to Baytowne Wharf. There are a bunch of great restaurants and bars down there to visit. Plus they have some good shops your wife and teenagers will like to go in and shop at.

Here's a link to their website LINK

This. Don't try to drive anywhere during the day. Also, don't think about trying to get breakfast anywhere unless you want to wait an hour or so. Just stock up at Publix and do dinner a few times.

Send the ladies to the outlets. Baytowne Wharf can be fun for a group like that as well.

It's the beach...that is the attraction. IMO, go to publix and load up the kitchen. Wake up and start drinking, after breakfast hit the hot tub and pool for an early morning (quiet) swim, hit the beach by 9 am and continue drinking. Bring sandwiches and snacks out to the beach so you don't have to back inside all day unless you have to poo. Sometime around 3 pm head in and cool off in the pool for about an hour, then wander inside shower and start cooking dinner. After dinner, when the ladies are cleaning up pour some good whiskey or wine and drink till you're too tired to stay awake then go to bed. Wake up and repeat x7 days.

You're welcome.

I have little kids, but The Track may be fun for teens as well. Go karts and bumper cars, and some bungee jump thing. Big Kahuna, water park, was pretty good as well.
I bought all the tickets and points online, saved a few bucks.
Henderson State Park is the beach we went to. Clean facilities and beach.
Dewey Destin Seafood was ok at best. Callahan's was pretty good. The stuffed bell pepper soup was really good.
It was our first trip down as well, so that's about all I have for you.

Good advice but I'd recommend pooing in the ocean or digging a little hole in the sand.

Then you're vacationing in the wrong place.

All of this. I haven't been to The Track in close to 10 years because I thought I was too old for it but damn it's fun.

Do they still have the rod on the acceleration side you can push down to make your go-kart go faster than the others?

Old Bay Steamer is very good if you are a King Crab fan.
