I hear you can collect clams/conches/snails at Johnson Beach (~10mins from Gulfshores)?

Can anyone tell me more about this? Figure we may go bring the kids out there if so.

Don't eat them. Those clams are loaded with nitrates and mercury, so your IQ will drop and your central nervous system will collapse if you consume them.

No wonder Florida is such a fricked up place.

The folks who frequent Panama City must really enjoy those clams on a regular basis.

There was a video going around of a big clam being handled today. They were cleaning it off in a bath tub.
