Having a fish fry this weekend and looking for somewhere around Lafayette that sells fresh catfish. Any leads would be appreciated.

I would think Rouse's would have catfish. Also Chez Francois. Albertson's sometimes gets fresh never frozen. Most grocery stores have the Delta brand, I believe.

You need to change your title or your thread is going to get the anchor. No two word titles. Something like Where Can I Buy Catfish in Lafayette? would work.

Everything Gris said. Rouses would be my first major stop.

I vote rouses also. I've bought a lot of fish from rouses for the Gueydan hunting club. That said, we always shop with no specific fish in mind. The head chef says "buy whatever looks freshest." I just do as I am told.

Rouses is easily his best bet.

How much do you need? We bought some fresh fish from a fisherman in Loureauville a while back, and it may be worth the drive if you need a bunch.
