If the Republicans gain control of the senate and hold on to the house is this a possibility? Obama is changing the demographics of this great country by allowing illegal immigrants in. Government controls our healthcare and he has overused his power. Its time for him to be impeached.

Zero? No way the Republicans approach 2/3 necessary to impeach in the Senate. And the leadership has made it pretty clear they have no intention of pursuing it.

The Senate doesn't get to vote on impeachment.

Nuclear option? Change the rules like the Dems did maybe? Precedent has been set for 51 votes to rule the Senate now...

There is no nuclear option in this case. The 2/3 standard for impeachment proceedings is set out in Article I of the Constitution.

Impeachment is not an option. I think the lawsuit is a viable option and I also think cutting off the bureaucrats money is another.

Let Obama veto a spending bill cutting funds to the IRS. Let him. They will be hard pressed going to the people and screaming about a shutdown.

Its not. Boner can't show damages. No standing.

Not to mention precedent from Shrub and Scooter. The President can instruct his staff to obstruct justice and then just pardon them later - and its

This!

(1) Would assure a Dem House and POTUS in 2016

(2) Would under no circumstances (including BHO caught conspiring on tape a la Nixon) result in BHO's removal from office. There is no conceivable proof/crime that would get HairyReed&Co to "do the right thing"

(3) Even if successful, the period of information gathering, impeachment, trial, and vote for removal would take >year. Meaning: BHO would have less than a year to serve out.

(4) Joe Biden would take over!

(5) Joe Biden would take over!

(6) Joe Biden would take over!
