Watched Nola for Jacksonville Suns recently, a few nice hard hits just right at the opposition

he's having a solid season.batting .270 with 40+ RBIs. Not bad for a kid who was a fairly average college hitter.

In other news, Raph Rhymes has 7 home runs so far this season. I swear I'm convinced the BBCOR bats have less pop than wood.

Also, Jacoby Jones has been raking all year. He's currently on about a 15 game or so hitting streak and is batting .296 with 14 HRs and 47 RBIs and an OPS of .847. Really wish we got that type of consistency out of him while he was at LSU because I truly believe he's one of the most naturally talented players we've ever had.

wow rhymes with 7 homers is impressive.

they need to change the bats.. will be interesting to see how this new ball affects things.. but i'm not sure i really like the idea of changing the ball as opposed to just changing the bats..
