I've created a system configurator with costing in Excel, and I'd like to share this with others, but in a .pdf form.

I have Adobe PDF Professional. Have some, but not a huge amount of experience with it. What do I need to do to preserve the formula calculations and macros?

This might be impossible. At the very least, you will probably have to create the fields and put the formulas in Acrobat manually.

Something to consider: would a web page work for your purposes?

A webpage would likely work just as well, as long as I can manage a secure log-in. Suggestions?

What about leaving it as excel and protect all of the cells except the data entry ones? When you protect the cells you can choose to not allow protected cells to be selected.

I'm with Korkstand. I've created a few forms in Acrobat and don't think anything from Excel transfers over directly. I haven't tried to turn any into a form directly from Excel though.

I think it'd be easier to restrict and control the excel form, or manually input the form in Acrobat.

I have done that already. Just thinking that a PDF file would be beneficial.

Why do you want to use .pdf?
