It's July fricking 15th and the Rs are polling a candidate within the margin of error on a 30 yr incumbent.
What more could you want right now?
Face the facts, no one, NO ONE is running away with this thing from Mary. She is a 30 yr incumbent, and voters love incumbents.

I enjoyed her commercials when I was in college.
"Call me, Suzanne HAIK Terrell" She put so much emphasis on "Haik" that she sounded like Peyton Manning.

Landrieu won the second time because Woody Jenkins is an idiot.
If republicans blow this Jindal should resign. Friggin two term republican governor who has done NOTHING to help beat Landrieu and will not because he can not. He is polling worse than she is. I don't know who those idiots are in the establishment that keep inviting him to speak at fundraisers but they should be ran out on rails too. He has kept the LAGOP full of his bag handlers and now we have a bunch of post-adolescent inexperienced wannabes trying to beat one of the most established political machines in the state.

But this one is horrible. No need to trot out old losers. She ran for another office after her failed Senate bid and lost that one again, against Charles Foti.
NOLA City Council and Elections Commissioner are her only successful campaigns.

Haik was dull, ran a terrible campaign because she listened to the DC consultants who consistently picked the wrong issues

Cassidy and his team know what they are doing. Most people, unlike you, are not paying attention right now.
They're too busy going to baseball games, swim meets, the beach, and other things.
After Labor Day is when it gets into gear.
I have heard Cassidy many, many times talk about Obama Care, and he's going to slice and dice Mary on this.
I'm one of the many she lied to (and I knew she was lying at the time) when she tried to weasel around Obama Care. There are multiple thousands of people who remember and will crawl over broken glass to vote for Cassidy.
And I tell you where he's going to hit her, and that's in Acadiana, and it's going to be on Obama Care and its "War on the Catholic Church".
