@JoelAEricksonAU
Dan Mullen answering a question about Liverpool and the World Cup.

@wareagleextra
Well, I was not expecting this. Mullen asked about the World Cup. "I kind of grew up around watching that stuff. ... I'm a big sports fan."

@AUBlog
Mullen: "I do think SEC football could be compared to European soccer … that's 1 of the things that makes (SEC) so much fun, the passion."

@JamesCrepea
Dan Mullen giving his thoughts on Liverpool, Suarez. This is real.

Would be great if he went up and pretended to be Brendan Rodgers for 30 minutes.

I saw a bit of grass-eating taking place after different matches.

Also, when they talked on CFB Live about a construction worker at Kyle Field having the balls to hang a Bama flag off the side of the stadium, Jesse Palmer scoffed and noted that if you tried to hang an Estudiantes flag outside La Bombonera at Boca Juniors, you'd probably be dead.

Nice analogy, I'm a bit impressed. I would've likely went for something with Old Firm or el Clasico.

But Mullen has family from England. He's 2nd generation American or something like that. Not sure of his family connection but it's real.
