NL Pitchers wearing jackets on the base paths

As a kid remember this happened a lot but seems like I see it much anymore. Is this the case?

It have have something to do with the fact that I grew up a giants fan when they played at candlestick. It was cold as hell at those games

They do it to keep warm to prevent cramping. They do it a lot in the dugout too, but you just don't see it.

This, sitting in the dugout at Myrtle Beach with a jacket in 95 Degrees sucks, but playing baseball during the summer at Myrtle Beach as a College Kid was awesome
