so did that law that allows drinking alcohol in theaters get signed?

Yeah it did but the theaters still need to get approval from the local govt (city/parish) if memory serves.

They have allowed daquries there for at least three years and started with beer and mixed drinks in the last year.
Canal Place in N.O., which is by far the best movie option in the state has allowed drinking since they opened.
It's all good for stuff like this when you are not having to deal with trash.

couple of the indie theaters in houston have bars and allow drinks inside the theater room ...

Places like Alamo Draft House have very strict no talking rules that are heavily enforced

Honestly I usually just get a tea or a soda, but I don't see that as "trashy"/

The theater opening in Juban Crossing is supposed to be a dine-in and bar joint


It's a Movie Tavern I believe.

I looked at their website and the food and drinks didn't seem too bad at all
