Rear Seat DVD

Buying a new Tahoe. Chevy wants something like 1500.00 for a single fold down LCD. I assume I'm better off going aftermarket with this. Should I do the headrests? What should I expect to pay?

Our last vehicle had rear DVD...... NEVER AGAIN. Kids would always fight over what movie they were going to watch. Ended up getting them each a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2

Do not buy that shite. Get them iPads and load up with movies and games. They slap on headphones and you won't hear a peep from them on an entire 10 hour drive to Disney.

Either IPad (they also make a headrest cradle for the iPad)

Just bought a new car and had these factory installed. We enjoy having them but if I had it to do over again, I'd just hang an iPad over the back of the seat. Its kind of a pain in the arse getting the dvd started and ready to go. Our's also plays video from an iPod touch but again, its a pain in the arse scrolling to the right movie and setting the monitor prompt before we can drive anywhere.

Do not get the fold down screen go with the headrest mounted ones. The fold down blocks your rear view mirror.
