Wasn't it something to do with their cap?

That's weird...Must be cap issues

No, he just wants to "re-max" his contract when the new TV deals kick in.

I cant wait till he bolts because they cant get him the titles he believes he deserves.
Watching him crush the hopes and dreams of Cleveland fans will be an epic melt....and the leFanbois will praise his "resolve", be "proud of his decision", and the always favorite "he's a good person" refrain will fall like the tears of morons who had his tattoo etched into them like he was some savior.

Depending on how the new television contracts are put together, the salary cap is projected to leap to as high as $80 million in 2016. There is also uncertainty with the current collective bargaining agreement starting in 2017, another reason James wanted to keep his long-term options open when it comes to the structure of his contract.

This.
Supposed to be a big increase in salary cap in 2016. He signed it and said hes committed to Cleveland long term. Just doing it so he can increase his contract when the cap increase happens.

Probably just wants to be able to re up for more money in two years, nevertheless I'd be a tad concerned if I were a Cavs fan

Heard them talking about this a few days ago on the radio.
The nba is expected to phase in the new caps over about a 3 yearperiod to be fair to every team since all their contracts and cap situations vary.

awww...I see the jimmies of the leFanbois are already rustled.
Truth too tough to handle? Like winning a championship without the help of handpicked superstars, then running when things get tough? Yeah, figures you'd be just like your idol.

But you come off as a douchebag.
ETA: Just read some of your other posts re Lebron. Why are you so invested in what he does? Is it just a troll job?
