A new danger has been lurking in the waters of the largest lake in New Jersey, in the form of a potentially dangerous snake.

As CBS 2’s Tracee Carrasco reported, a boa constrictor that could be up to 20 feet long is on the loose around Lake Hopatcong, and neighbors have been worried.

I mean, how long could a living creature actually survive in a New Jersey lake anyway?

That's some pretty solid advice Dale.

well, how hard can it be to spot a 20-foot snake?...fly over the lake and, when you see it, kill the damn thing...

I think as long as you just leave your baby unattended in the lake for a few minutes you should be ok.

These people are idiots. I've had reticulated and Burmese pythons. The length is attainable but very unlikely, and they can't swim anywhere near as fast as 25 mph. Dude watched Anaconda way too many times.
