I passed on the Basin bridge around 7:30 and saw a one-vehicle accident that a state trooper was just pulling up to. No idea if that would still be backing up traffic at this time.

ETA: This was east bound.

a minor wreck followed by hundred of people who have to come to a stop and look at the wreck compiled with people who don't know how to merge traffic around a wreck.

Thanks. I just hope it's not a big 18-wheeler accident. It's important that it clears up soon.

18 wheeler wreck, it's nasty. It's backed up to Breaux Bridge.

No

How long could it be stopped for potentially?

Thanks. She lived with us my whole life so she's like a third parent. I usually don't bring up personal things on this board, but I can't believe a stupid 18 wheeler could get in the way of this.

I posted in the other thread but I'll leave this here as well. There's a hazmat spill on the basin bridge. He's probably not going to make it through in time.

Sorry about your loss. As least you will be there. That's what matters. Good for your bf for trying.

Someone put flashing yellow and red lights above the road and now you can only turn right.

Don't worry, she'll still be there.
