His career isn't over yet, Jordan would be the only one that one could argue otherwise.

I'd still take LeBron myself.

He's a bigger and better and more efficient MJ.

It isn't absurd, the talent in the league now is unlike any I've seen in my 34+ years.

Today's NBA isn't a pimple on a gnat's arse compared to the NBA of the 80's and early 90's. Watch the Detroit Bad Boys 30 for 30 and you will gain an appreciation of the overall talent in the league at that period. The Bad Boys had 6 HOFers on that team and only managed to win two titles during that run. They competed against the Celtics and Bulls in the East and couldn't beat the Lakers in the West.

LeBron has no competition in the league today compared to that era. The real competition he has faced made his team quit in this year's finals and were one blown call of a back to back title run during Bron's four year title chase. He should have been a one title holder, but that's why they play the game.

LeBron isn't even in the GOAT conversation.

the talent in the east today is still better than what existed back in the day

No doubt, and nba teams actually play defense as opposed to those days.

Yes. He'd have better numbers than Jordan if he played in Jordan's place, and he'd whip Jordan's arse in a one on one game.
