Any experiences?

ETA:

Ended up ordering a boiled shrimp tuber and the wife got a buffalo chicken tuber. It's a huge potato. I was able to eat the whole thing in one sitting, but it could definitely be split between two people. I thought they were pretty good. It was loaded down with shrimp. Didn't try my wife's though. Definitely will go back at some time.

Some coworkers got them from the Gonzales location. They were sizable spuds. I avoid largely due to the quotations around the word "butter" on their menu.

SAVE YOUR MONEY. DO NOT EAT THIS shite.

huge potatoes. it tastes like garbage. I tried one with chicken and i'm pretty sure they pulled it out of a can.

I ate there a couple months ago... Not bad, just average but you won't leave hungry... Went to Pville location...

No idea where this is located. I love a good baked potato but don't eat them much anymore due to the carbs. But once in awhile...

Alan Risher had a place called Hot Potat on State Street in a long gone building next to Louis. It was pretty good but only stayed open a couple years.

We've tried them a few times. My coworker likes them and they're huge, but I don't think I'd ever want one again.

Looking at the menu about the only one I would eat would be the basic.

Do they actually bake them or are they wrapped in foil and steamed?

I scrub the skin, rub with butter or oil and bake for an hour or so. The skin is the best part.

I think they're steamed, and plain would probably be the best choice. They seem to be swimming in grease when you order one with toppings. I'd probably just pass on the place if I were you. I think the baked potatoes at Jason's Deli are legit.
