According to a report in the Irish newspaper The Independent, the US national team will face the Republic of Ireland in a friendly in Dublin on Nov. 19.

The US are already scheduled to take on the Czech Republic on Sept. 3 in their first match after the World Cup, and head coach Jurgen Klinsmann has apparently added another European road game to the schedule.

Bhoy ill see you there

At least it's not Scotland. I'm not expecting any players over 25 to get the call.

I think it means we've had 2 friendlies with Scotland relatively recently.

It's nice to play another subject of the Crown.

It's Ireland, not Northern Ireland. Free and independent, thank God. Scotland may be, too, come September.

Would be great to see Landon get the call-up (since it looks like the galaxy won't be in the playoffs) and have to face off against Keane.

I feel like they will stick with the UK in a close vote. We'll see. Fascinating political decision there.
