It's stupid. It's like rooting for a racing team (ex. Hendrick Motorsports) when it's not a team sport.

Be a man and choose a team and stick with them.

Yes. It is absolutely pathetic to switch your "favorite team" because a player switched.

Basically, you are the lowest form of life. Congrats.

Michael Jordan fans say hi. I know he never played for another team, but how many fans did the Bulls lose the day he retired? (Both times)

Yes. Go watch golf or nascar or something if you want to root for individuals

Enjoying watching him play and rooting for the team he is on are two different things, IMO. Don't pretend to be a fan of a team just because 1 player is now on it.

No. Because unlike 90% of basketball fans, you'll actually get to objectively enjoy watching one of the greatest players in NBA history play.

I'll pull for the Pels when they play since they are the hometown team, but I'll pull for James to be successful as well. It makes the NBA interesting and relevant. He's great for the game of basketball.

I mean if you're just a casual basketball fan, I don't see what the fuss is about.

You can enjoy watching him play, respect his game and admire it all you want. But you shouldn't suddenly become a Cavs fan because he's on the team.

Not at all. I think it's ridiculous that people feel the need to put someone else down because they don't follow their idea of how fanhood is supposed to work.
