Dude handled this the right way, made the right decision and has learned from his mistakes. I've never been an LBJ hater but I've openly rooted against Miami and even as a lifelong Lakers fan, I really hope he finally brings that elusive championship to Cleveland. If any city in America deserves to finally have some sports success, it's that one.

That letter was absolutely perfect

to LeBron and all the true, lifelong Cavs fans

Oh and frick the Heat.

Kind of agree. I'm happy for him and the folks of Cleveland

I loved what he did. And I'm no Lebron lover...this was the best thing he could do for his legacy.

But go Bulls

I am.

I just converted from a critic to an ally. I hope he wins many championships in Cleveland, and I will be rooting for him.

Proud? No

Happy that Cleveland has a chance to win a title? Absolutely.

He did the same thing he did to Cleveland. Team was falling apart, so he bolted. He just has a feel good excuse this time. He did notify the Heat this time though, and it took courage to talk with Dwyane last night.

I've always pulled for Lebron, even though I rooted against the heat in the finals (not because of him, though).

I didn't care for the 2010 decision show, but I thought it could've been worse.

Good luck to him in CLE , and glad he mentioned my man, Udonis Haslem

Yep, dude is just a straight merc. The whole "going home" angle is just feel good BS.

But I'm cool with it and, like the World Cup and Olympics, this looks to be a ride we'll get to enjoy every 4 years so I'm down with it.

I'm not an NBA fan, but from a pure "brand" perspective he really did a great job.

He flat out said he was kind of a d-bag 4 years ago. Now he's back. It's a fantastic story line.

or the Knicks.

Although of all the big teams, I wouldn't have been bothered had he considered the Bulls.

I thought the letter was solid and a great way to do it.
