Does anyone have a reasonable estimate as to how much more this new SEC network is going to cost?-Currently on ATT U-Verse.--They are killing me on fees??

It won't be a distinct charge on a bill, it will be rolled in to each cable providers packages just like any other ESPN channel. What you may find is that a provider put it in some type of Tier or Package that you may not have, and thus have to upgrade. For example, Cox is placing it in it's Digital Essential Tier, which is what everybody has to have if they HD service, and probably 95% of all their customers do. Comcast or Verizon might do something similar, or they may stick it in a "Sports Tier" you have to pay an extra $12/month for

Are they?

Either way, they don't exactly confide in me.

Just saw you said UVerse, here's the deal on that
quote:

SEC Network is available with U200 and above in U-verse TV markets in the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas and available with U300 and above in all other U-verse markets.

So if you live in LA, and have U200 or above, you get it "free"

They're trying to get $1.30 per subscriber per month within the SEC footprint and 20-30 cents outside of the footprint.

ESPN will not allow them to stick it on a sports tier. You will not see that with any of the agreements they reach with carriers. They want it included in whatever packages include the rest of the ESPN channels.
