A 17 year-old Virginia teenage boy who is in hot water after sexting his 15-year-old girlfriend could be forced to have an erection by police so that they can take a picture and compare it to the sext as evidence.

Is that what they call "hard evidence"?

That would make a great scene in a Porky's remake.

So it's ok for the police to produce child porn?

"Manassas City police say they will not serve search warrant in teen ‘sexting’ case"

"Manassas City police said Thursday they would not serve a search warrant seeking to take photos of a 17-year-old boy charged with “sexting” an explicit video to his 15-year-old girlfriend earlier this year."

What is the back story on this.....how did the police find out about video/pics. Did the girl friend tell the police or her parents?

her parents?

My guess is the parents saw it and went apeshit.

But:

quote:

When defense lawyer Jessica Harbeson Foster asked how they would obtain a photo of her client while aroused, she said police told her they would take him to a hospital and inject him with a drug to force an erection.

JEEBUS, we are gonna inject a drug into a 17 year old to pursue THIS "crime". Isn't there some dogs in that town to cops can go kill?

It's like the police don't use common sense anymore. Were the child pornography laws really intended to stop 17 year olds from taking pictures of their own selves? They want to punish him for child porn because he took pictures of himself?

I mean the whole thing is just silly.

The law wasn't intended for stuff like this. It was intended for actual criminals.

Don't the virginia cops have anything better to do like arrest a rapist or murderer?

this is by far one of the stupidest things I have heard over the past week or so.

Who ever is charging this kid is stupid, he is a minor he took a pic of himself. If we are going to charge kids make them sex offenders for taking naked pictures of themselves before they turn 18 than we have hundreds of sex offenders just for trying to show their GF or BF themselves naked.

what makes this case even worse is that the girl did the same thing the guy did, but the guy could have his life ruined and be on the sex offender registry the rest of his life (the judge can rule this way, so if the judge is an A hole this kid's life is ruined) and the girl isn't charge with a single thing.

Highjack warning in advance.

Can you imagine the type of person who would show up in a courtroom as an expert in penis identification? You couldn't pay me enough money to utter the words "I studied photos of so-and-so's penis and compared them to the perpetrator's" or something to that effect.

I don't know if I could be a juror in a trial that penis identification would be submitted as evidence without bursting into laughter. Just the entire concept cracks me up.

Okay, you can go back to arguing about serious legal topics now.

Like I said just get a school teacher to perfome the task, seems they are pretty proficient.

At 17 I would never have to be forced to have an erection. Just hang around for about 30 min and you would see one.

On the serious side this is total BS.
