To the resident libs here: do you not care about the deleterious effects illegal immigration will have on the African American community?
I've been wondering when this topic was going to get some airplay. Where are Sharpton and Jackson?
Just further proof that liberalism serves only one purpose: to make the liberal feel better about his or herself.

The situation in Houston is very instructive of what's going on.
The black community is vocally unhappy about all the illegal immigration on the border and what it means for them. Their Congresscritter, Sheila Jackson-Lee, doesn't give a shite.
I'm not sure they toss her in November over this, but there's growing discontent in a number of minority-majority districts.

Considering that SJL is obviously an idiot and has shown no regard for her constituents in the past, it's a question as to whether the black community in Houston is willing to vote for someone else.
This is a woman who had a Town Hall on ObamaCare and started taking a call from someone in the middle of a constituent telling her something for God's sake.
I'm sure that the black community didn't give a shite when she was doing it to a white girl, but they won't appreciate it when they see her selling them out for a bunch of illegals.

The black community is not a concern to Democrats. They are a safe voting base, and because of that, they have hurt only themselves.

What happens when the latino population outnumber the white population? When the African American community has a gripe who will they blame? The scapegoat won't have the power anymore and the hispanic community doesn't have the slave card to be played against them.

Net Latino immigration is at zero...was negative for a while between 2007 and 2012. Even with the kid crisis south of the border immigration has been declining. The one growth sector in immigration is the asian demographic.
