Some interesting comments from Adebayor on Twitter:

I would like to clarify some recent reports in the newspapers. I have NEVER criticised Tottenham fans. I just merely suggested that it ...would be more positive if they got behind the team more. I love the club as do all the players in the dressing room. We would all do ...anything to make this team win but like most people we respond better to praise than criticism. We will get this right. Please bear ...with us and we will improve.

Yeah. He was blasted for saying he'd rather play away matches because he doesn't have to listen to the home fans boo. I understand it though. Just a bad situation. Sports teams are all the same. When it's going well, it's all good. When it's going badly, absolutely nothing is going right.

It's too late for that... Get his sorry, lazy arse out of here this winter. I know it won't happen though.

Thank God. I don't think he has ever been more appreciated by Spurs fans than now.

Yedlin has to love being in North London with the USMNT right now.

I know this season has sucked, but new Spurs fans get excited to see the return of a player who makes things happen. Sometimes he's too aggressive, but we need that right now. With Lamela and Eriksen always roaming inside, we need a fullback who can fly up the wing.

Especially considering he only spent about 3 hours at WHL when he signed his contract.

If he is in fact getting his passport, hopefully he is coming in January!

Yedlin will definitely be here. I hope he gets a shot at wing in Europa. He can't be worse than Lennon and Townsend right now. He was giving people fits at the World Cup, so I think he could give the team needs d energy.

Eric Dier has pulled out of the England U-21 team where they had him at RB. He said he wants to focus on winning a centerback spot for Spurs. Sounds good to me.

We have stolen Southampton's head of recruitment Paul Mitchell. He's brilliants, and I've read that we have a joke of a scout team, so I'm excited about this.

quote:

The most intriguing element of the department, though, is what is known as the "black-box". It is a small room with a phone, a desk and a row of chairs that faces a giant screen. Southampton designed their own computer software that is used in this room and, with just a few clicks, Mitchell and his team could be watching any player, team or target anywhere in the world. Yet the "black-box" is not used solely for identifying players but also analysing Southampton's own squad and future opponents.

I won't. Actually I am one of the more sane posters on this Board and would never stoop the level you just did.
