My buddies did well out of Lake borgne two weeks ago, but knowing how the lake changes, that means nothing

We went out last Saturday and Sunday and barely got a nibble. Very low tidal movement. The tides are looking better for this weekend. If the weather will cooperate.

Went last Thursday out of Slidell and fished mainly under the I10 bridge. Caught over a dozen black drum, 1 red, and 7-8 specs. Game warden said we were the only boat they had talked to that even had a spec in the boat that day.
Also, a friend of mine went this past weekend and didnt catch much.
