The more you lie, the better your ratings?

Not at all surprising, though.

The comparisons are interesting, but be cautious about using them to draw broad conclusions. We use our news judgment to pick the facts we’re going to check, so we certainly don’t fact-check everything. And we don’t fact-check the five network groups evenly. CBS, for instance, doesn’t have a cable network equivalent, so we haven’t fact-checked pundits and CBS personalities as much.

HA

so it's basically worthless

And there you have it.

How MSNBC can have a lower rate of falsehoods than FOX or any other news network is proof of bias from the get-go.

Doesn't seem to be working for Obama, no matter what station he shows up on.

People dont want news...they want to be outraged. They want an outlet for anger generated by their shitty, retarded lives. Whats the main criticism of NPR? "Its boring"...."Its so dry".

IT'S THE frickING NEWS.

I agree with this.

To the other posters, go read the statements that they rated, before judging. There are a lot of liars out there. Plenty to go around all of the news sources.

First of all...you forgot the

Second....MSNBC and Fox News are both absolute garbage which are only there to make people feel awesome about reinforcing their viewpoints and belief systems. They both contribute to our shitty political climate along with hack-arse talk radio.

Yup. Many viewers (Fox, MSNBC, Rush Limbaugh, Maddow) are just looking for ammunition to support preexisting beliefs.

Just because they are criticized by both sides of the aisle does not necessarily make them accurate or bipartisan.

Your source would rank near MSNBC for truthfulness. TBTimes Pundit Fact is awful.

This is no different than if Rush had done a audit of the media and posted his findings.

That's ridiculous. Do reporters from The Tampa Bay Times consider themselves "entertainers"?
