President Obama will return to Martha’s Vineyard early next month for a 16-day family vacation, the White House confirmed this week. It will mark the fifth time during his presidency that President Obama will visit the Island.
A White House official said in an email Wednesday that the President and First Lady will travel to the Vineyard on Saturday, August 9 and will depart for Washington, D.C. on Sunday, August 24. No public events are scheduled and no further details were released by the White House.

Presidents are never actually on vacation. That's how GWB could use his Ranch as basically White House 2. Pretty sure people know this.

I'm not one to defend this dumb arse but, he has not taken near as many as GW. After a quick google search it appears that GW spent most of his time as President on vacation.
I'm not sure about the amount of money spent on vacations though. It seems Michelle and the kiddos live on vacation. I would like to see some figures on how much money is wasted allowing the moochers to jet across the world and live like kings. And I don't mean just the Obama's, all of them.

Quite frankly, I wish our current President would actually be on vacation. There would be a lot less chance of him screwing something else up.
