They had a story on this on NBC Nightly News last night. Cyclists are getting so pissed because people are going out in front of them at TdF and taking selfies

In the next days stage, I can't remember the rider, but he was actively slapping iPhones and the like out of peoples hands as they tried to get photos/videos of oncoming cyclists....
I thought the French were dumbass fans but the Brits took the cake...

It drives me crazy. People pay hundreds of dollars to be at events and spend the whole time worried about recording it. A shitty video they will probably never watch.

Reminds me of the way my old HS coach used to tell us to punish the receiver running the crossing route that dropped the pass.
He was an old school "African American" coach.
"If he's gonna come across your territory, he might as well catch it...Or ya better punish him, boy!"
