Thought there was a thread on this a while back but couldn't find it. What are some decent courses to play when I'm there? Not looking for high dollar courses as I'll most likely play a round every day. Just the typical decent $40-$60 course?

The only ones I have played on while there were the base ones. Sorry, can't help you with others...

Marcus Pointe and the Moors are the only ones I can remember that were in or close to Pensacola.

Play AC Read on the NAS. It's open to the public and, pretty decent and not expensive.

ETA: From a recent review: "Great course and well taken care of. Love playing on Tuesday mornings around 11 when the Blue Angels fly over."

Played Tiger Point three weeks ago for $17. It was Ok, nothing special. Needs to be maintained better. One of the guys paired with us said that they had a ton or rain earlier in the year that really did a number on the course. If I had to guess, it was a very nice course back in the day because it goes through a slightly older community.

I will second AC Read and Tiger Point. Perdido Bay is nice too and I don't remember it being all that expensive.

Will prob play the 17th, 18th, and 19th. Most likely in the mornings.

Also, unless you have a 300+ yard drive, play scratch golf, and make $250,000 a year I'd rather not meet up as I'd perfer a non trashy vacation jk
