This isn't shocking at all. I dated a white guy from Zimbabwe about 15 years ago and his parents couldn't leave their property to come visit him in the US bc their property would be seized while they were gone.

This is really terrible what's happening there. I have several friends that lived in Rhodesia before it became Zimbabwe. They were smart and left for South Africa and the US before it was too late.
I just hope the same thing doesn't happen in South Africa.

i bought a zimbabwe trillion dollar bill when I was in zambia last year.
i gave it to my niece for christmas. She went totally crazy. It was hysterical, although she did cry when she found out she wasn't a trillionaire.
