Movies with well done fight scenes.

The Raid
The Raid 2
The Bourne Trilogy (not the 4th)
The Matrix Trilogy (except the ending)
Captain America 2

Just off the top of my head.

I don't really feel like I'm attracted to one genre. I like drama. Not action or road trip movies.

I am more pulled towards directors.

One thing I guess I do like is sci-fi sprinkled into stories that are familiar.

Movies about writing. I am a sucker for when the writer is obviously playing with the form (like Smoke or Adaptation), even in a bad film like Identity. I like stories about storytelling.

Westerns
Martial arts, especially the ones from the 70s
Biopics
Vietnam War
Crime/legal Dramas, mainly ones set in the south where everyone drinks whiskey all day and sweats like crazy sitting under a barely spinning ceiling fan.

I like movies set anywhere from like the 1860s through the 1920s. I enjoy seeing set designs, and how the actors try to act out how they thought life was like in that time frame.

I also like romantic comedies. They don't even have to be that great, they can be cheesy as hell.

I like movies where a team has to be assembled. I could watch an entire movie of the team assembly montage.

I'll also watch anything Baz Luhrman directs.

Horror will forever be my favorite. The rush and experience you go through is unique.

Spaghetti Westerns for the simplicity/music/old school vibe.

Comedies are hard to come by these days it seems, but still a favorite.

Action/Suspense -- Preferably Christopher Nolan/Darren Aronofsky/David Fincher

And anything Quentin Tarantino.
