Kramer Robertson continues to hit well in the Cape Cod League this summer. He is 2nd on the team in batting, averaging .372, with 3 multi-hit games in his last 4 games. I knew he could hit, as he was second in batting on the LSU team in Fall scrimmages last year. I think he will have a great sophomore season for LSU.

Amazing what happens when they get away from Javi for awhile. He is the best defensive 2b they have and if he can improve his hitting the way Stevenson did he will be at the top of the order in the lineup because he did pretty good at working the count in games last year.

I imagine we'll move Conner to 1st and KRob to second then. Deichmann at 3rd with Bregs at SS?

Yes, being around Javi during the season causes our hitters to not perform well and then when they get away from him they magically become first rounders

Idiot.

I think we'll constantly be shuffling new guys around at 1B and 2B through a good portion of the year. Obviously Hale can play either spot and is the outright frontrunner, and Kramer probably has the next leg up, but I haven't given up on Zardon. Don't forget about the Barbe Twins, Byrd, and who I especially am looking forward to, Papierski. I bet CPM will plug him at 1B and C a good bit because... He's a switch hitter! Oh the matchup possibilities!

But seriously, that kid has a really pretty swing. I think he's going to develop into a plus hitter for us.

Yeah we have some serious talent coming in to compete. I'm pretty stoked to see what comes of it.

I'm not a fan of him at all, but if he can get his avg up it'll be nice. I'd much rather have a good bat in at 2B than good D. If we're talking about SS it's a bit different but we're fortunate enough to have a badass at SS w/ the stick and in the dirt

Dude, he was a freshman and showed great instincts and plate discipline. If he can bulk up a bit and catch up to D-1 pitching, he'll be a great guy to have at the top of the order.

Still doesn't change the accuracy of his statement.
